Getting Started
Beginning care with Simply
How do I get started with Simply?
How you begin depends on how you’ll be accessing services. Arizona DDD families typically begin with a referral from their Support Coordinator. Families using ESA funding or private pay can contact Simply directly. Our team will help you understand the next steps for your pathway.
Do I need a referral?
A referral is typically part of the process for services through Arizona DDD. ESA and private-pay families can reach out to Simply directly without a DDD referral.
Will my child or family member need an evaluation?
An evaluation may be needed to understand communication or feeding needs and develop clinical recommendations. The timing of the evaluation depends on your service pathway and where you are in the process.
How long does it take to begin therapy?
Timing varies based on the pathway you use, required paperwork or approvals, service needs, your availability, and clinician availability. We’ll keep you informed as you move through each step.

In-Home Therapy
Care where life happens
Where does Simply provide in-home therapy?
We currently provide in-home speech and feeding therapy across communities in Phoenix’s West Valley and select areas of Yuma County. Coverage depends in part on clinician availability, and families near the communities we serve are encouraged to reach out.
Why provide therapy in the home?
Home is where communication, routines, mealtimes, and everyday challenges often happen. Working in a familiar environment can help clinicians build practical strategies around real life while giving caregivers opportunities to participate in the process.
Does a caregiver need to participate in therapy?
Caregiver involvement can be an important part of helping skills carry over into everyday routines. Your clinician will discuss what participation makes sense based on the individual’s age, needs, goals, and plan of care.
Do you offer clinic-based appointments?
Simply’s primary service model is in-home care. Limited clinic-based appointments may occasionally be available based on clinician and space availability. Contact our team if you would like to ask about current options.
